Firstfruits began with an idea: How could women’s needs to gather with other women, experience God’s love and go forth more centered on their own giftedness and purpose be met? Then the Holy Spirit stepped in and something powerful happened!
In the beginning … Firstfruits began as a vision for a women’s ministry whose purpose was to gather women to experience God’s love. And as a result, be transformed!

As word spread about this unique opportunity, other parishes became interested in hosting a Firstfruits gathering. It became apparent to the founders of Firstfruits that this “gathering” needed to be moveable. We became known as a moveable feast of spiritual opportunities for women.

Fr. Dave Pivonka, TOR presents a series called the Wild Goose (Celtic term for Holy Spirit) which is a simple invitation to Christians into a more profound, life-giving relationship with the Holy Spirit. This is a relationship marked by the love of God, which breathes life into our daily existence.

The gift of the Holy Spirit is not merely something reserved for Confirmation.  The Spirit desires a relationship with us that will take us on the greatest adventure imaginable: a journey to the very heart of God.  The Holy Spirit desires to be present to us in a manner that brings light out of darkness, freedom out of bondage, order out of chaos, and life out of death.                           Fr. Come join in the discussion about the Holy Spirit and the role the Spirit plays in the life of the world and within each of us.

This 14-week session is offered on Tuesdays from January 12 to April 20 (No class on April 6) in the morning or evening.  You can choose between the following options:

  • Tuesday Morning Zoom from 10:00-11:00am
  • Tuesday Evening Zoom from 7:00-8:00pm

Pre-registration is required in order to add you to the Zoom invitation list. Registration deadline is a week before the event.

Cost: $50 Regular Price or $25 for Members.
