Finding Hope and Peace in the Busy Life

Calling all busy ladies! Life is full of so many blessings and opportunities for us women. Yet sometimes, we can get filled with overwhelming experiences of anxiety, depression, loneliness, confusion, or fatigue. Ladies, let’s get together and try to look at these common human experiences and explore how Jesus wants us to navigate them. We hope you will take away practical applications but most importantly peace and hope from the discussion. God bless!

(Art Workshop) Salve for the Soul

Life provides wounds for all of us. Pope Francis says “Our own admission of frailty is the very place God comes with grace.” Come see how Art can become an ointment to promote healing and consoling for our wounds.

When we use the word “artist” we include poets, writers, cooks, gardeners, and people who use all manner of creative expression: we are all called to be artists of everyday life.

SALVE FOR THE SOUL will focus on our wounds and how to care for them.

(Workshop limited to 12 people.)

Presenter: Diane Gilles

The Spiritual Practice of Discernment

St. Ignatius considered discernment of spirits THE most important skill for Christians, but what exactly is discernment, why is it so valuable, and how do we practice it in our everyday living? As we pray and seek God’s will on earth, we need help seeing and interpreting the leading of God’s Spirit and making decisions. Join us on this Lenten journey — to recognize God’s voice in the midst of so many competing “voices.”
