At What Cost?

Last week we received the invitation to discipleship. As we see this week, if we respond “yes,” Jesus has laid out very detailed instructions on what we need to do and what challenges we will face.

This “yes” will require commitment and some pretty drastic changes. This is where a lot of us put on the brakes. Change isn’t fun. But we must keep our eyes on the prize and not look back. Keep looking forward to the new life we are promised. It’s there we will find our joy!
